Finished in light green metallic over light tan, this super original blue license plate California car shows 56,489 on its currently non-working five-digit odometer. I am told that the actual mileage is close to that but I cannot verify the exact mileage. This 47 year-old vintage Buick sports an excellent running 455 cubic inch V8 engine mated to the factory 3 speed automatic transmission, electric windows, factory radio, rallye wheels. It had been off the road since 2001 and just received a new fuel pump, carb rebuild, new water pump, hoses and belts.

THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this 1970 Riviera is in very original condition overall with still shiny chrome, original wheels and side skirts and an obvious patina to the paint surface. It is in quite dry California condition with no rust perforations on the body panels just the surface wear and hazing to the paint finish. Drive it as it is or have it be a great foundation for a complete body refinish.

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is clearly articulated in the photos here, the interior of this 1970 Buick is in VERY original, slightly tattered condition overall! Looking at the condition of the brake and gas pedal seems to support the low-mileage of the car.The dash is in good condition as are the door panels while the original headliner is torn and sagging, the steering wheel is deteriorated and sticky, the radio powers up but does not produce sound, the passenger side electric window is stuck half way down and the carpets are a bit shredded and stained. The lights and blinkers work but the horn does not..

THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1970 Riv starts easily with nice idle and a strong running engine, excellent shifting transmission, solid and straight braking, smooth responsive steering, smooth ride and quiet exhaust. The car drives surprisingly well down the road with very nice acceleration.
