This 1971 BMW 2002ti spent time in British Columbia before being acquired and subsequently imported into the United States. The car is finished in Agave green over tan vinyl and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a dogleg five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes dual side draft Weber carburetors, 13″ steel wheels, and KYB shocks and a sliding color matched sunroof.
BMW produced approximately 16,448 2002Ti cars between 1969-71 for the European and Canadian markets, and all came equipped with a number of factory upgrades over the base model including larger front brake calipers, stronger wheel bearings, fully-boxed trailing arms, dual side draft carburetors as well as a limited-slipshort-nose differential and adogleg five-speed manual transmission.
The cabin features brown vinyl upholstery with matching carpets throughout as well as black and chrome trim on the dashboard, center stack, and door panels. A BMW Bavaria radio head unit that does work, and adjustable front seats with head rests.
Silver 13″ steel wheels wear bright full covers with BMW roundels and are mounted with 185/70 Moto Master AW+ all-season tires.
I don't know exactly how many Ti's are currently in the states but I do know from having several old BMW's in my time that the number is very few.
The car was just serviced and I had the rear brakes done, transmission mount replaced, clutch master cylinder replaced, and fuel filler neck done.
