Price: - Item location: Litchfield, Maine, United States
Description:

1991 BMW 8-Series

NO RESERVE!!!!1991 E31 BMW 850i 6 speed manual transmission!! 122,415 miles. Extremely rare, one of approximately 850.Laguna Greenmetallic onLight Parchment Nappaleather. Runs and drives very well. Clean Carfax. Clean title in hand. No rust. Clutch grabs very well. The engine pulls hard and idles well. No CEL on or any other warning lights. No smoke on start up or while running. The factory cell phone is present but not installed. It has the owners manual. All windows, including the sunroof work. The heated seats work. The power telescoping and adjusting steering wheel works. Both power seats work and adjust as they should. Both windows function properly when the doors are opened by dropping the designed amount to allow entry and exit. The headlights lift and retract as designed(a very cool feature).

Front bumper is in need of a re-spray. Someone in the cars history replaced the front bumper and failed to properly prime the bumper for paint. A strip and respray will correct the issue. I do have all grills for the car(not shown in photos). I was preparing to have the bumper refinished. The car has a few dings, dents and scuffs, but overall presents very well. The car has typical BMW oil leaks underneath but nothing major that prohibits the car from being enjoyed. As with most of these cars, the headliner is starting to sag in the rear andcoulduse replacement. Please keep in mind the car was dirty from being driven in the rain in these pictures!

I am only selling this car due to a lack of space and the desire to focus on my e28 M5. As you can see from the pictures, I currently have the car stored in a storage unit.

With the reemergence of the 8 series BMW this original V12 manual supercar is sure to appreciate in value. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

It has just come to my attention that according to the carfax there was "Damage reported to the front" on 9/05/2018. It is my belief that this is a byproduct of having the front bumper looked at by a body shop. Prior to that there is no record of damage on the Carfax. I can send a copy of the carfax to anyone who would like to see it.

PLEASE NOTE. I have included the front page of the Carfax indicating NO ACCIDENTS...the peeling front bumper is the "other damage."
