1966 AMC Ambassador DPL: formal 2dr hardtop, factory air, factory 327 V-8 with the flash-o-matic Borg Warner transmission, fresh rebuild with reciepts, factory rally wheels with new tires, factory TwinGrip limited slip differential, factory AM radio that works, factory bucket seats, factory center console. This car is an absolute gem!! Super original un-molested. Survived the last 57 years babied and pampered!! I have recently had the tranny completly rebuilt with reciept, also replaced the waterpump, new tires with full size spare with rally rim, new battery. I just rolled over the odomater and now sits at 100,035 actual miles (it shows 000035). Here is what I know as far as history goes. I recieved car in 2020 after 10 years in storage. I was told it was restored in the mid eightes. The gentelman I bought it from purchased the car out of Arizona and brought to California and then Idaho. I had the transmission completely rebuilt and went through the entire fuel system and replaced the pump and rebuilt carb and also replaced the waterpump. All the floors are solid and there are no signs of rust and appears to have factory undercoating. With all that and more, this car is super rare as far as how many were produced and how many survied.
