Great looking and custom painted Rambler Coupe V8 4.7L

1964 AMC Rambler Classic 770

For sale is a beautiful 90% original 1964 AMC Rambler 770 Classic with a powerful V8 4.7L (287cc) motor and automatic transmission. She has 67,750 miles and in good running condition! (Mileage will go up a little as I drive it occasionally)
This Rambler starts and drives well (you need to prime the fuel line with a couple of push on the gas pedal). It still needs a few very minor stuff to be perfect. But overall it's a GREAT LOOKING Rambler with a strong V8 engine. What a head turner!
All brakes and suspension are in good working condition. Tires are good. 2 of them are almost new. The mechanical fuel pump was replaced with a rebuilt unit a few months ago. Radiator is new. It has brand new 2 barrel Holley carb. I also put a brand new fan blower.
Everything is original except front seats, carpet, carburetor, battery, and key/cylinder.
The body is very very solid with minimum rust anywhere. The left rear corner appears to have been previously repaired (it seemed minor). The paint is brand new! The body is red/burgundy (picked from a Mustang color) (it may look like a 3 stage paint but it's 2 stage) and the top is a 3 stage pearl white color. I have all the paint codes so it can be repaired in the future easily.
The interior has a brand new red carpet matched with custom (new custom made covers) white seats. The whole color scheme looks super sharp and she gets compliments all the time.
I drive this occasionally around the the town and sometimes farther for fun. There is nothing like this on the road and it's trulya joy. The v8 engine roars and can spin easily in the parking lot. It will need more work like trunk lock (It's missing. But you can open it easily by pushing a lever right in the hole), parking brake handle, radio/speaker repair, more reliable carburetor tuning, wiper motor/system is very weak, etc. The windshield is in good condition and has 1 bulls eye (rounded eye, not a star, which will spread easily). Forgive me if I forget something else. A lot of original parts are still in the trunk. For example carb, housing, the driver’s door panel. (I'm actually getting the driver's door panel rebuilt. So she will come with a new panel by the time this auction ends). I may also have the wiper motor fixed. I love working on this Rambler so I constantly improve her.
It has been a great pleasure to work on and drive this beauty. I have a mechanic shop and we put alot of love into this. The reserve is low because she is priced to sell! Partial trades welcome. Nothing with 2 wheels please. Clear Maryland title in hand.
