1970 AMC Rebel Machine Hurst - 31,000 original miles

3rd owner, 2nd registered owner.

390 ci. Borg Warner T-10, correct Hurst shifter.

Only 31,000 miles on vehicle. YES this is true miles!

Runs great, no issues, rust free.

Restoration included:

Paint job, with original stripe kit, painted 13 years ago. Still looks great

Car is garaged and barely driven. Kept in a climate controlled, humidity controlled (low humidity) environment)

Receipts for all parts and work done.

Engine:

390 complete rebuild, balanced, gasket matched, heads ported and flow tested at 238cfm, Stainless Valves, Scorpion Roller Rockers, internal oil kit for rear main, external oil kit for distributor gear, Reed dual pattern cam: duration 284/290, lift 512/525, Edelbrock performer intake, MSD 6A distributor, ignition and coil, Ceramic coated headers, dual 2 1/2" exhaust with crossover and Holley Warlock mufflers (with removable dumps). Holley 800 double pumper fed through a fuel regulator and GPH 110 Holley electric fuel pump. Idle is smooth at 550rpm, and revs well over 6,000. Less than 2,000 miles on engine since rebuild.

New 4 core heavy duty radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fan. Runs consistant at 190.

Centerforce Clutch installed Factory Ram Air

replaced the stock axles with Moser forged aluminum axles. The stock AMC axles have outer splines to mount the wheel hubs and do not hold up to the torque and power. Rear geometry is now adjustable with the Q1 upper and lower adjustable trailing arms.

3:43 Posi Rear, rebuilt, adjustable trailing links, boxed trailing arms, KYB gas shocks, urethane suspension bushings, upgraded 1.5" front sway bar, 7/8 rear.

Front brakes: 4 piston calipers, solid rotors.Rear drums.

Interior: Front buckets recovered with original material and new foam. New dash pad from Just Dashes.

Rest of interior is original and in decent shape. There is a crack in the plastic part of the dash by the windshield. One of the only few flaws.

Factory Machine wheels/center caps (non original trim rings). BRAND NEW BFG radials

I've included lots of pictures to accurately show the condition. This car is not perfect, but very nice to drive or show.

Hood Tach not working. I think due to the MSD ignition. I did purchase an MSD tach adapter, not yet installed, included with the car.

Actual mileage is 31,825.

Car has been garaged and driven rarely.
