This is a super nice all original Rust Free Low Mile javelin SST in great condition all around!! This original west coast car has been loved and maintained and it shows!! Miles are original. This javelin is totally unmolested and retains its original interior in great condition, matching numbers drivetrain etc. It has most of its original red paint in tact. (see pics)... I had a few scratches and bumps prepped and dip wrapped it in satin black to have a cool look while I decide what direction to go with the car.,, full resto, hot rod, ???... The wrap can easily be removed. This car is in amazing original condition and runs/drives excellent!!... use as is or make it your own... would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is straight and rust free with no collision damage that I can see. It had a scrape on the driver door and a few dings and scratches so I had it prepped and wrapped... It looks good but I wasnt thrilled with the job... there are some imperfections and blemishes... I may have it redone or repaint in original color if it doesnt sell quickly? Frame, floors, chassis, and trunk are clean and solid. Doors close tight and windows work nice. Period correct slotted mag rims and good tires. It's a cool looking hot rod style muscle car... Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll.
The interior is all original and fabulous as well... panels, carpet, console, and dash look great... I have ordered the material to redo the drivers seat. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly including original am radio!
Original 290 V8 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... It's fully serviced... Trans and carb are freshly rebuilt. The car has great power... Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! Suspension feels tight and provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a really cool Classic Muscle Car in great condition all around. I am a collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
