This is an AWESOME 1964 Black Plate California Rambler 990 Ambassador in incredible documented original condition all around!! This is a high option, original, ultra low mileage Ambassador... looks runs and drives amazing... honestly like new!! You simply do not find them like this!! Original 327 V8 and 3 speed auto trans. Miles are original!! The car is fast and smooth and is an absolute pleasure to drive!! Options include Airliner seats, cold AC, Deluxe Radio, remote mirror, etc. This car has documented history, extensive original paperwork, gold key, black plates, etc. Super Cool vintage luxury cruiser would be awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection... Pics tell the story here but honestly do not do the car justice.
The body is super straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see. High quality Re-Paint presents beautifully with only minor blemishes... It is a street car not a trailer queen but will hold its own at local shows or cruises. Frame, floors, and chassis are super solid!! Doors close tight and windows work nice... Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll.
The interior is fabulous as well... panels, carpet, headliner and seats all look amazing... has the original plastic seat cover over the rear seat. AC blows cold and strong. Gauges and electronics all work properly.
Original numbers matching V8 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... The car is powerful with highway gears... will cruise 80 mph all day!! Awesome power and sounds really cool. Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears. Gear ratios are great around town and cruises nice on the freeway as well. Suspension provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a really cool Classic in rare original fantastic condition all around. Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage Classic at a great price.
