1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Restored California VW Bug, NO RESERVE!

For sale is a great example of a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle, Bug.
This Bug comes from a VW enthusiast and if it were not for the fact that I am in between jobs, I would love to keep her, but the bills come first. This Bug is a great weekend car to go to the local show or to take the old lady to get ice cream in. Just yesterday we took it out for a fun back road drive up along the American river and she performed beautifully! I will surely miss this excellent little car.
I have had a handful of Beetles over the years and this 1969 year model is my absolute favorite. Especially, in the stunning diamond blue paint. 69 is when the began to get it right with the 12 volt system, the better brakes, good bumpers with the small lights. This is a non Super-Beetle Bug, so it has the better riding suspension and doesn't suffer from the awkward stretch look of the super-beetle. This bug is up date with its service and ready to drive or display, whatever you prefer. The 1500 was rebuilt a few years ago and runs excellent and starts at the touch of the starter. The transmission and clutch are also in great shape and the shifter feel is as good as anything. This car is an original, Diamond Blue, California car. It was repainted during its restoration years ago, back to the original Diamond Blue. There are a few rock chips, blemishes here and there along the front if your being nit-picky, but I had the local paint shop mix me a touch up bottle that I will include in the sale! The interior is great with recovered, perforated seats front and back. It does have a detachable stereo and the glass is in good shape with some easily removable tint that I love for our hot summers. All five (spare included) tires are good with chrome hubcaps. Finally, the roof rack is new and perfect for picnics or chairs at the car show. A detailed receipt book from Lasher Volkswagen and maintenance/restoration history included in sale!
Overall, this is a great little Bug and I am sure the new owner will be as proud as I have been to own it. It has a clean title, with mileage exempt due to age, and no warranty expressed or implied. Please do all inspections prior to bidding. I would love to show the car to anyone or let them cruise it around the block!
