1971 Toyota FJ40 Soft Top

Welcome to AdventureMotorCar's online listing. You are looking at a Desert Tan 1971 Toyota FJ40 that is owned by country singer Brain Kelley (singer for Florida Georgia Line). This vehicle toured with the band (Florida Georgia Line) this year. Not only was it part of the 'Anything Goes Tour', t was even featured in the music video "Anything Goes".

This FJ40 underwent a complete frame off restoration 3,000 miles ago. It was built in Hayward, A in 2013 using a lot of new parts from TLC 4x4 (ICON look). Over $65,000 was spent on this frame off restoration (not including the cost of the vehicle itself).

Options include; AFI fuel injected Chevrolet 383 Stroker Engine (new fuel rails and injectors), UDRAK transfer case, 00R4 Automatic transmission with Overdrive, wheel disc brakes, ower steering, RB front bumper, 0,000 lb. Ramsey winch (with nylon rope), LC4x4 front rear tire carrier, LC4x4 rock sliders, LC4x4 aircraft grade dash switches, hillowich interior seating and mats, uffy console, lpine marine grade stereo, 9) Alpine speakers, lpine Marine amp, LC4x4 soft top, LC4x4 Teflon wheels, F Goodrich All Terrain tires, RB locker, nbsp;and more!

The body was removed from the frame, hino-lined (inside and out), nd then painted Desert Tan. The following parts were ordered from TLC 4x4: rear spare tire carrier, eflon wheels, ock sliders, nterior aircraft grade dash switches, oft top, nd more!

The interior features TLC4x4 aircraft grade dash switches, port front seats with Chillowich fabric, ear bench seat with Chillowich fabric, atching Chillowich floor mats, uffy console, lpine marine grade stereo, 9) Alpine speakers, lpine marine amp, nd aircraft works dash light.

This FJ drives great. The wiring for this vehicle was painstakingly redone to mate with the upgraded components. The fuel injected Chevy Stroker engine was rebuilt by Sastini Hot Rods and the late model split transfer case came from MUDRAK. All new drive lines were installed with new CV joints and 3rd members with rear ARB locker. This vehicle features 4 wheel disc brakes and power steering (conversion by Superior 4 wheel drive).
