You’re looking at a remarkably unique 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ45 Diesel pick-up truck that has undergone a complete frame-off restoration. The frame and body have been painted with a kevlar coat that is nearly impervious to scratches and chips while drawing an exotic, rugged appeal. This truck boasts the best upgrades including a turbocharged diesel engine, 50' power take-off winch, and a snorkel.

The Toyota 13B-T is a3.4L, inline 4, eight valveOHVdiesel engine with a turbo charger.

This HJ45 is originally from Costa Rica and was restored in Costa Rica where FJ/HJ45s and FJ/BJ40s are common. While thorough and complete, this is not an all original, museum collector’s restoration. It is, however, extremely well done and this truck is ready for action!

This is not the FJ45 (gasoline) but rather the BJ45 (diesel, HJ= Pick-up) which is very rare in the US in any condition and absolutely non-existent in this custom configuration.

It was imported to and registered in Texas in 2013 where I hold a clear Texas title.(Mileage on title reads exempt and I will not be liable for mileage as it is impossible for me to know. Listed mileage straight from odometer in Kilometers, however this number is subject to change as the vehicle is still in use)

Somewhere... deep in the heart… of the Texas hill country... this HJ was outfitted with a handsome, solid Mesquite rear bumper and center console. The bumper adds weight, stability, and protection to the rear end while completing this truck’sawesomeaesthetic. The removable custom mesquite center console provides modern amenities such as cup holders, added storage, and an arm rest to the interior of this monster’s cabin.

Other stateside improvements include replacement of old starter with refurbished OEM starter, Optima YellowTop Deep Cycle Batteries, and a HE>i rear window decal direct from Hawaii.

This is a 1985 Toyota, not a 1980. Ebay needed a 17 digit VIN for vehicles 1981 or newer and this has an 18 digit Costa Rican VIN, so I just listed it as a 1980 to get by that.
