1988 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible absolutely beautiful factory hard boot

1988 Saab 900

One of my favorite cars all time, this one is an exceptional example. 1988 Saab 900 convertible, 2.0 Liter 16 valve turbo engine paired with an automatic transmission. The car is fully loaded for the year. It spent its entire life in the north east, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, to be this clean it had to have a good home. These are only going up in value and this one is a perfect daily driver, needs very little.
EXTERIOR: About as nice as you are going to find, very little to no rust, clean shiny paint. All trim, lenses and glass are good. Newer top, looks to be only a couple years old (I am unsure of age of top). Rims are good with minor wear. All emblems and badgesare present, the hood emblem is silver. On the body, there are a couple minor dings (2 small bb size dents,one withpaint damage, one without), a couple places where there are small paint chips: bottom edge of trunk lid, passenger's side under rear window 1" deep scratch. Both bumpers have minor creases also, driver's side front (pic), driver's side rear minor. Only place I could find rust, inside driver's door (pic) very minor, passenger's door is clean.
INTERIOR: Again extremely nice. Leather has minor wear considering the age, both front seats have a seam sewn back together. Dash has cracking starting from center tray (very common). Trim is pulling away from glove box (common), no floor mats. Top and windowsgo up and down fine. All controls work, A/C blows warm (has been converted to r134a), haven't tried to fill it. It has the factory hard parade boot, with bag. Tool kit andspare tireare there and complete (not attached anymore) and has the factory spare tire bag.
MECHANICAL: Fresh PA emissions and inspection 06-2017. The engine is strong, no smoke or noises. Turbo spools and pulls as it should. There are a couple things that need mentioning about the transmission, it shifts as it should, but, it shifts hard. Not slamming into gear, just not smooth. Also, and this maybe related, the gear shift lever is off and tight. It feels like it takes three clicks to get it into reverse and five into drive. I have driven this car a couple weekends and it consistently shifts as it should without problems, no slips or slams, again just hard. Outside of that car is fun to drive and goes straight down the road. Front tires are excellent, rear tires will need to be replaced next inspection.
I require a $300 deposit within 72 hours of auction end. I am a licensed PA used vehicle dealer and have access to a full PA notary and transit plates.
