Description:

1992 Porsche 911 targa

This Porsche 964 is a daily driver. The targa top was restored by Dave Brown 5 months ago and has never been folded. The carpet was replaced 1.5 years ago. The AC uses R12 and cools excellent in the Southern California Sun.
It has a period correct blue tooth stereo that works well for phone conversations and music streaming.
Engine and clutch has 37,000 miles on it and was built to factory specifications. For documentation, see the pfixit website for detailed build videos. Fuel injectors were cleaned and all zinc parts were zinc plated. The oil lines were rebuilt, oil tank was repainted, and every rubber oil line and the front oil cooler replaced.
Has new rear tires and plenty of life on the front tires.
Suspension has about 10,000 miles on all new bushings and wheel bearings.
Has a new windshield and seal. The rear window was removed and a new seal was installed.
Body has 167,000 miles and still looks great, the rear bumper was recently resprayed and the rear center light strip was replaced. Both were fading from sun damage.
I've had the car for about 5 years, my third air cooled Porsche 911.
The driver door works well, but will need to have the door strap area repaired on the door. Also, there is a small rust spot on top of right front (passenger) fender and rear passenger quarter by the bumper. The quote to repair this is about $1,300.00
The targa hoop is currently a stainless steel look, like earlier targas and can be painted original black before delivery if desired. It would be removed, professionally painted and then installed back on to the car.
