This is a rare real numbers-matching 242 coded 1966 GTO hard top with factory WS coded 360 HP Tri-power 389, uncie M20 4-speed & 3.55 Posi-traction original rear-end and PHS documentation
This tri-power 66 GTO was built during the 3rd week of April 1966 so it was one of the very last tri-power GTO to ever be produced since less than 20% of all 66 GTO were WS factory coded and 1966 was the last year tri-power was offered in a GTO
The car has completely restored and has been driven only 255 miles since the completion of the restoration. The car has been professionally painted with GM EvenStar Blue Charcoal paint, ll trim is bright and straight and the glass is excellent. It is an understatement to say this is one of the most beautiful GTOs ever produced.
The tri-power 66 GTO is a real pleasure to drive. It has plenty of power at any speed, rovides smooth shifting, olid stopping power, esponsive power steering, ucket seats with console, ull gauges and instrumentation, uiet body, nd comfortable ride unlike other cars of the muscle car era.
