Description:

1975 Pontiac Trans Am

Super nice 1975 Trans am, PHS Documented, less than 32k miles, all #'s matching 400, 4-speed, 3:08 posi, Stellar Blue with original black interior... 1 of 6140 4-Speed Trans Am's built in 1975. I have all of the original documents including the original window sticker, deal sheet, gas receipts, mechanical work, trunk lid jack instructions, etc. I even have the original keys still in the dealership leather key ring pouch. Mileage is believed to be original per previous owners. The condition of the car and receipts backs that belief. It's had one re-paint in 2005 to freshen the car, still retains all of the original body panels. Car is solid, floors, rockers and rear frame rails are rust free( undercoated since new). The only mods to the car are exhaust ( flowmasters ), radio replaced with CD player, and I added the 18" US Mag wheels that mimic the original Pontiac Rallye II's. I do have the original Rallye II's with new tires that will be included with the car, but I am willing to let the buyer have the option of buying the car with the original Rallye 2's only if they so desire. I realize not everybody is a fan of upsize wheels on muscle cars, so I will offer that option to the new owner and I have added a picture of the car with original wheels. Car runs/drives/stops great, no known issues at all, but it's not perfect, has small paint chips ( mainly front spoiler and wheel opening flares - the usual spots), front bumper has a tear under pass headlight ( a common trait ), etc...but it can hold its own at car shows, cruise-ins or just drive and enjoy.
Nice 2nd Gen's are hard to find and the condition of this one indicates it has always had a careful owner and easy life. Doors and trunk shut with little effort, no sagging, glass is not scratched up, even the door buzzer still works. I would rate the paint work about a 8 out of 10 and interior is 8.5 out of 10. I'm very picky, so I encourage you to come see the car in person and judge for yourself. Please remember this Trans Am is 44 years old, and while it's a nice original example, it is not a concours restored one.
