Description:

1973 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

As for myself, I am a (74) year old kid that loves muscle and classic cars. For my work, I am retired from managing a Correctional Facility here in Maine and had worked for the Maine Department of Corrections for (40) years. I am also a respected member of my community. I mention this only because of the value of this car and so that prospective buyers will have some idea as to who they are dealing with. Also, please check out my eBay feedback that is at 95% with (1,350) transactions and only (1) BS negative. Many of my transactions have been muscle cars.

1973 Volkswagon Super Beetle Cabriolet Convertible

The first Beetle rolled off the assembly line in 1945, it was called the Volkswagen or "The People's Car". The Beetle sold more than 21.5 million first-generation models, making it one of the most popular cars of all time. It was considered to be a masterpiece of innovation and economics, being compact and practical while also being inexpensive to buy and maintain. The air-cooled engine required less maintenance and was much easier to fix compared to cars produced in the U.S. at the time. After many successful years and millions of cars produced, Volkswagen finally decided to retire the Beetle in 2019, exactly 70 years after it was first offered to the US consumer.

For serious buyers I do have many more photos and a video. Just ask.
