69 gto 4 speed project

Price: - Item location: Exeter, Rhode Island, United States
Description:

1969 Pontiac GTO

Selling a 69 gto. This is a project in need of full restoration. Has plenty of rust but is structurally sound. Will need trunk floor/lid and front valance replaced. Most other panels need patchwork repair or replacement at your discretion. I Have PHS documentation, originally Verdoro green with black interior. Factory power steering and power disc brakes still in place along with 3:55 posi rear with old school track bars bolted to it. Has rally gauges with factory dash tack. Also had a hood tach and complete hideaway setup installed at some point.
Was a 4 speed and i do have a correct 69 M20 muncie with flywheel, bell housing and hurst shifter for it but it is a very rare unstamped vin case that i will sell seperately and is NOT included in this auction. The car will come with the drive shaft and crossmember.
There is a non-original motor in it but does come with a late 68 correct casting and WT code 400 block and crank. Block is standard bore and has already been cleaned, magnafluxed and de-burred. Was going to use the engine in the car as a parts engine to build the #'s correct 400. Also comes with full length left and right floor pans but one needs a patch in one spot from sitting outside and holding water. Or cut them up to patch the original floors, your choice. And if buyer is interested i have a set of original 15" pontiac rally II's available for a little extra $. I'll say it again to be clear, rusty project in need of full restoration. Please look at pictures closely. I will be happy to answer reasonable questions. I also reserve the right to end this auction early as it is for sale locally and i'm open to offers.
I can be reached at 401-269-ten-thirteen if you would like to discuss the car in detail. A $200.00 deposit via Paypal is due within 48 hours of auction end, remaining balance upon vehicle pick up. Rhode Island does not issue titles to vehicles of this age, will be sold with a bill of sale. Thanks for looking.

UPDATE***********. *******. ********. ****. *******. *******. *********. ***
Upon further inspection of the muncie trans i mentioned, i have found a vin stamp on it. Not where you typically find them, but it is there. Therefore it is not a rare unstamped case. But is a correct M20 wide ratio muncie (68 date coded) for this GTO. That being said, and since the auction has met reserve and will sell, i have decided sweeten the deal and include it in this auction. That also includes the bellhousing, hurst competition plus shifter, flywheel, clutch fork and just for reference if anything, the old clutch and T/O bearing. (Please see additional pics.) Along with the crossmember and driveshaft mentioned previously. Also the Z bar and starter are still in the car. So all 4 speed parts are here. Now you get just about all the main mechanical components included other than a carb and intake.
I also wanted to note that i pulled the side cover and the trans appears to be in excellent condition internally (please see pic). A good cleaning and re-seal should have it ready for use.
