Description:

1940 Other Makes Hollywood Bread Truck Divco TwinCoach Fageol

1930-40's Hollywood Bread Truck
Vintage delivery van from the 30's or 40's.
We have been unable to find any information on this or any similar vans. We are not certain of the make but some names that have been thrown around include Divco, TwinCoach, Fageol and Republic. You decide.
It is a complete, rolling truck with engine and trans. It has a very large flathead six cylinder engine stamped with CWC (Campbell, Wyant and Cannon??).
The mechanical condition is unknown but would presumably need a complete rebuild. This truck has sat for a number of years.
The van is complete with all the parts including sliding side doors, rear doors, engine cover, seat and dash.
The exterior sheet metal is all flat steel that shows some rust but nothing unexpected form an 80+ year old vehicle.
The body of the van has a wooden substructure or frame that will need some repair.
The front glass needs replaced but, unlike many of these early vans, the glass is all flat, making replacement relatively simple.
The extra cool "Hollywood Bread" patina and logos are included at no extra charge.
All body panels and pieces are present.
The truck has a full set of 7.00 x 20 tires that hold air and a 5th spare that doesn't.
The truck rolls and steers easily.
This truck would be an awesome piece to restore original or make a one of a kind cruiser with an updated chassis and drivetrain swap. You're only limited by your own imagination.
