1952 MG T-Series Competition Options

Up for auction is a very nice driver quality MG TD with someCompetition Roadster Options. This MG was bought in California in the late 60's by the family of the present owner.A frame up restoration was completed in about 1969 and the car was us as a Sunday driver for several years, then put away, and only driven a cupule times a year after that. Always stored inside and well maintained. (Speedo shows 07701 miles.) The family has decided to sale, as they seldom drive the car. This car has some of theCompetition model extraswith the XPAG more highly tuned engine using8.1:1 compression ratio giving 57bhp at 5,500 rpm, twin fuel pumps, and a higher ratio rear-axle. The engine is the original "Numbers matching" #13826 andit runs strong. Only about 1700 Mark II Competition models were produced from 1950 to 1953, and this car has some of those options. The car is showing some light ageing, with a coupleof slight imperfections in the paint, and some ware on the edge of the lower seat bottom at the back of the seat cushion where it meets the seat frame.(Please look at pictures closely, divers side only, very small) Tires are older but look good and it has been up on blocks. The car is done in it's original Pale Yellow paint with Tan interior. It has the matchingconvertible top, matching side windows that store in the back inside compartment, and cockpit cover, all in great condition. All chrome is very nice and it has the wing windows off the wind screen, luggage rack at the rear, original owners manual & MG maintenance manual, that all come with, also the wiper blades are stored in the glove boxif you do not see them on the car.The car drives nicely, but dose need some detailing to show better. (It's been sitting in the garage, on blocks) This is a very nice MG TD that shows well as isand is a blast to drive. I'mlisting this little MG for a old friend and will take all questions to him. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can. For your questions please call Bill (208)750-0000
