1953 MG T-Series

I found this MG TD in a garage a year ago with a 1949 Bentley. I bought both cars and drove the Bentley for about six months before selling it. I have been regularly driving the TD and have replaced the fuel pump, radiator hoses, windscreen seal, all the parking and turn signal lamps, fixed the brakes and installed a spin on oil filter. The tires and tubes were also replaced with original style Firestone 5.60-15 tires from Coker Tire. The convertible top is in good condition but is not an original, I have a couple side curtains but not the whole set. The original Jack and some spares are inside the storage box under the bonnet.
The Tachometer does not work but all other instruments do as well as the lights, turn signals and horn. The car starts right away and is the best driving TD or TF that I have ever had. This is the special competition model of the TD as well as being a Mark II which includes twin fuel pumps, larger carbs, an upgraded generator, and twin shocks per corner.
The car has been repainted sometime in the 70s and then sat from 1985 until the time that I bought it. I have since driven the car about 700 miles and even taken the car to the Road America race track where it made a great pit vehicle. The odometer is currently showing 21,584miles and with it's condition Ibelieve it to be accurate.
Obviously this car still has it's original engine and I have included a picture of the engine number on the block as well as the MG numbersbadge on the cowl listing the correct engine number.
