1979 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Base Sedan 4-Door

Selling a very nice 1979 300SD Turbo Diesel Sedan W116 body. Car runs and drive GREAT!! Can put 700 miles on full Tank of gas. Upgraded to a high capacity 35 gallon aluminum tank to get more miles out of car! Low miles approx 127000 on the odometer. All cluster components work well. Strong-running diesel with plenty of pick up. Turbo works great! Transmission shifts smooth through all the gears, downshift is good with no slips. Car starts right up, smooth engine! Suspension is firm, no squeaks or rattles. Drives solid on the road. Brakes are responsive with no vibrations. Original car, interior is near flawless. Bamboo color is still rich and not dry. Wood is still good with good luster. Good tires and newer set of front and rear brakes. New rear shocks. All fluids in transmission, steering pump, cooling system, rear end has been flushed and replenished. Engine valves adjusted about 6k miles ago. Newer ASCII climate control digital servo, replaced old annoying unreliable version.
All windows work up and down, all doors open and close like they should. HVAC systems works well. Moon-roof works as well. All electrical inside and outside of car work like they should. All locks are operational with 3 keys for the car. All chrome has plenty of shine and no pits or rust. Floor panels as well as lower quarter panels are rust free. Doors are clean as well with no rust. Overall,car for being 38 years old is well above in good shape. VERY road worthy. In the last four months, car has been driven to Oregon TWICE and back with no problems-what-so-ever! Manuals and tools are included!
If interested, for the winning buyer, I have extra parts for the car that I stored over the years that I would be willing to throw in. I have some interior, exterior and an extra transmission for this car. Since I will not have room to store this, I would like for someone to have these extra parts.
