1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata R-Spec Hard Top-Convertible

This 1994 Mazda Miata is a 36k mile example with factory R-package option which included a Torsen limited-slip differential and no A/C or power steering. The Carfax is clean and viewable below and Brilliant Black paint shines nicely with an optional hardtop. Within the last 500 miles the car has received new tires, new front/rear brake pads and rotors, and a new battery.
The previous couple owners used the car in SCCA Stock Class autocross and added some suspension modifications detailed below and polished 15×6″ 10AE wheels. The seller has used it mostly for errands and pleasure drives, and says it is great fun to drive.
When purchased the seller had the front bumper repainted due to some minor scuffs from autocross cones. Mud flaps were originally installed but have been removed – they will be included in the sale. The soft top is in good condition and the optional matching black factory hardtop is rear defroster equipped
Original grey cloth seats look well-kept. Dashtop, gauge panel, door cards and all look clean and presentable. Gauges and electrics are said to work properly.
Engine bay is very clean and presents the original 1.8 Liter DOHC 16-valve engine well with a RoadsterSport Cat-back exhaust being the only drivetrain modification, adding a touch more power than stock.
The R-package came with a stiffer suspension than the stock Miata and this car has been modified with a Mazdaspeed 1.25″ front sway-bar and double-adjustable FatCat Bilstein Shocks (Original Bilsteins are included). Just fitted 500 miles ago are new front and rear brakes (Centric Rotors with Stoptech Sutreet Pads) and new Dunlop Direzza DZ102 195/50/15 tires.
