1964 Lincoln Continental 64 No Reserve

1964 Lincoln Continental

For sale is my '64 Lincoln Continental. Overall it is a very solid car and was my daily driver for the summer.
The body is straight, the car is about 90% original with the exception of the paint job. The previous owner had it painted a clean white. There are a few spots on the body that would need some work to get it in perfect shape but that's to be expected with it's age (see pics).
The interior is ok, it is original and therefore it has cracks and discoloration. However there are no springs showing through the seats or large tears, no missing parts that i'm aware of. Carpet on the floor is in remarkably good shape. Even has the original working 8 track player.
Some of the issues:-The radio seems to only play through one speaker
-The rear power windows work but intermittently they will stop working
-Shifter linkage on trans is a little off (to start vehicle you have to move shifter about a quarter inch or so out of park to a "sweet spot")
-The air conditioning is complete and I was told it did work when I purchased the vehicle, however after having it checked, the compressor needs to be rebuilt
-The exhaust (drivers side muffler) seems to be leaking
THE GOOD:
-This car is complete. All of the trim pieces, switches, accessories, etc. are here and original.
-The engine runs very strong
-The brakes are great
-All the lights work
This is a great example of a '64 Lincoln Continental. I was so excited to get this car, however within 6 months of owning it I found myself back involved in my first hobby of motorcycles which can get pretty expensive pretty quick.

*************************************Since the firstattempt at selling, I had 1 person with the high bid just stop communicating, gave a second chance offer to the next person in line after asking if they were still interested (which they responded "yes") and then never heard another word from them.
I had one person come look at the car after seeing the local add and he said the pictures do not do it justice, said the close up photos of thetrouble areas are not near as bad as they look in these photos.
I chose a no reserve auction to sell this car in an attempt to move it before salt hits the streets here in northern Illinois, yet 2 weeks later its still here.Please only bid if you are 1) interested in following through with the down payment terms 2) have the means to complete the sale.
