Selling my 1979 Jeep Cherokee FSJ. Awesome condition. Completely gone through mechanically. New steering parts, suspension parts, bushings, brand new exhaust, new carpet, aluminum radiator, the list goes on. Everything has been refreshed. Tow hitch and tow wiring installed. All new fluids including trans, transfer case, and differentials. New brakes, tires have 75% life left. Rear power window works. Front seats are tearing around the seams on the seat part, but easily fixed by an upholstery shop. Rear bench seat is almost like new. Rest of interior is 9/10 with very minor blemishes. Exterior 8.5/10 with minor dings, no damage. Paint still strong. New headers and custom exhaust with glass-pack mufflers. Mufflers are a bit loud, buteasy for new owner to swap for quieter mufflers if desired. Note: engine photos were taken before headers were installed.
Driven regularly every few days, perfect daily or weekend cruiser. Some minor dings/scrapes/blemishes as any 40-year old vehicle that's driven regularly would have, but no damage. NO RUST. Front grille has been swapped with a 1978 for looks, but everything else is 1979 and it's titled as a 1979 Jeep. Mileage is believed to be original based on condition. I have a spare transmission & transfer case that will be included with the sale. Heater box was removed by previous owner but I do have an aftermarket heater which is not installedyet, but is also included with the sale. I'll add the VIN number to the listing within the next 24 hours.
