1986 Jeep CJ7, with inline 6 Cylinder, HEI ignition, Dana 44 axle, and the hard to find Automatic transmission. Full doors & hard top.

This truck has an older paint job but still holds a nice shine. There has been some touch up work done to what I assume was surface rust coming through around the rocker panels. It's shown in the pictures. This is the last year of the CJ7 and for a 30 year old truck it's in great shape. It's a very solid truck. I've taken photos from underneath and from the inside to show how solid & clean it is. There's no carpet so you can see all the floor pans. The interior looks very nice & all gauges work, except the fuel gauge which only reads accurately when you have a full tank. The passenger seat has a tear in it and a smaller tear in the drivers seat. I've pointed these out in the photos. Mechanically, it runs great, starts right up reliably and cruises down the road, just the way you would expect a Jeep to ride. It does have power steering, but everything else is manual. It has a good sound system. It comes with a bikini top. It has just a little over 113,000 original miles & has just passed a state inspection with zero problems. It does have a very minor leak coming from the transmission pan gasket, nothing serious to worry about, but I wanted to make sure that I point out everything I can think of so that there's no surprises when you get here to pick it up.
