Started life as a rare Calypso Green 1992 Ford Mustang LX hatchback with 5.0/5-speed combination. I have owned the car since 2010 and purchased all the parts listed below over the years:

Body:
  • Full repaint in 2011 and has lived under a cover garaged since.
  • A couple scratches here and there from brushing by in the garage and road debris.

Needs/Recommendations:
  • A responsible owner! This car is not for the faint of heart. Its a animal that is tamed with good driving.
  • The engine could really benefit from a vacuum pump - sometimes there is an oil drip from the pan from a buildup of crankcase pressure.
  • Replace the current power steering rack with a true manual rack
  • Upgrade the brakes, they are stock.
  • Re-seal water neck - not an active leak, but has some dried coolant at the gasket mating area from sitting.
  • The flash memory battery that retains the tune in the engine management system is dead, so the tune needs to be uploaded if the car sits for a few days. I have the battery ordered, and will install it as part of the sale.
  • Please come and inspect the car personally to determine its needs for yourself - I got burned by a guy here that bought a car from me sight unseen, never asked a single question, then slandered me for being deceptive. I'm sure I am missing some parts on the list, but as you can see this car is a BEAST. All basic systems remain in place such as lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, windows, parking brake, etc. The car was registered and insured up until last year.
I used to drive it around town and even trailered it up to the Lake George Adirondack Nationals on two occasions and drove it around in stop/go traffic for hours.
This is a lot of car for the money! Not desperate to sell.
