1989 Ford Probe Preferred Equipment Package 261

Most all on car is original. It is the Sport (GT) model with the 2.2 liter E.F.I. turbo 14 S.O.H.C. engine (that will set you back in your seat, yet yield great mpg), with 5 speed manual transmission with overdrive transaxle. Car has had regular maintenance and oil (full synthetic oil) and oil filter (high quality filters) changes at 3,000 mile intervals, etc. In good working order. Clutch and transmission have been rebuilt. Last new timing belt 7,000 miles ago. Spotless and in excellent condition. Has always been kept garaged. This is a historic vehicle (29 years old). Engine is clean and burns no oil as has been maintained with frequent oil and oil filter changes. Due to age this is a historic vehicle. If I were to keep the car, I would install new shocks and new tires. I would not hesitate to take this car across the country on a road trip. Have original window sticker, manual and service/repair records.
