This is a very cool 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe vintage Hot Rod. This car was an Old Hot Rod built originally in the late 50's or early 60's. It still has the old 1 inch white wall tires and most of the red tuck and roll interior. It even has a custom made rear seat. The body is very straight with a few dents, nd the usual rust issues that a car like this that has been sitting would have. The trunk pan is rusted out, here is rust in the lower driver door and the rear quarter behind that. there is rust in the passenger rear fender, he passenger running board, nd some of the body mounts. The trunk lid also has rust in the lower areas of the lid. This car has been sitting for 40 plus years, resh out of the pole shed, nd has spent its existence in Texas. The car will need to have a complete restoration of all components. The car does not have an engine or transmission or drive shaft. The rear axle is a pre 1964 GM withparallel leaf spring suspension. The rear axle does need to be repositioned to be correct. The frame is in great shape without any cutting or modifications. The body damage consists of a small dent on the top over the driver door, nd a crease on the passenger rear fender. All the glass is there and intact, lthough some panes have cracks.
