1971 Torino Cobra project car for sale. 429 Cobra Jet, 4 speed J-CODE Grabber Blue Cobra, Factory options: bucket seats, Jcode shaker/ramair, 429 cobra jet, top loader, 4 speed console,Comfort weave Bucket seats, rear window louvers, grabber blue color, in dash tach. Condition: project car has the numbers matching original motor and transmission, 31 spline axle with nodular case center section, still has original 4 speed console, tach, rear window louvers missing (stolen), shaker top missing (stolen), engine is disassembled, block was sent to machine shop, machine work has been done to block, has most of the body panels to fix the rust, needs rust repaired in front frame rails, cowl needs repaired, floor pans need replaced. Bought from original owner. Comes with new radiator,Fan shroud, D0OE-R Cobra Jet heads,Cobra Jet intake, Original chrome CJ dipstick, Trim ring for shaker, original hurst shifter,grille, grille molding, grille emblem,Shaker base and snorkle and original CJ valve covers. Missing is the shaker top,rear window louvers,carb and dist. Comes with a front engine compartment cut at windsheild for repair parts, Have a left lower quarter panel, Floor pans 2 doors and a fender also. This is a very rare and repairable project car. I NEED TO ADD A FEW UPDATES TO THE DESCRIPTION. I CHECKED SOME NUMBERS TODAY ON PRODUCTION OF 1971 TORINO COBRAS. THERE WAS 313 THAT HAD THE J-CODE COBRA JET AND 4 SPEED. AND ONLY 41 OF THOSE WERE PAINTED GRABBER BLUE. ALSO, I DO NOT HAVE THE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. IF YOU NEED MORE PICS JUST ASK.
