1936 Ford Other

This farm-truck was used for hauling grain to the elevators here in western Kansas up until 1971. It was very well taken care of and the farmer stored it inside since then and drove it every year in the Christmas parade. Everything on the truck is original except the engine which he updated to a Ford flathead 8AB some time in the 60's. This engine looks exactly like the original, but has twice the horse power (100). It runs excellent with no strange noises or smoke. Previous owner told me it has less than 2000 miles on it. Transmission is 4 speed and shifts fine. Clutch is like new. Brakes are original and mechanical, but there was a vacuum booster added from the dealer when new and the brakes are very good and it stops straight. Body is original with what looks like original paint. There is a few dents and scrapes on it but nothing serious. There is absolutely no rust! None! The interior is nice and original. All lights work and the added turn-signals also work fine. The 12 foot bed lifts up and down and bottom is lined with steel that is in perfect shape. All glass is good. Tires are like new, maybe 1000 miles on them and it comes with an extra set of 4 wheels with tires. Only minus I can think of is that the fuel gage does not work.
