1971 Ford F-100

Up for auction is a hard to find short bed 1971 F100. It is powered by a good running 302 engine and an automatic transmission. It runs and drives good and is dependable. It does have the power brakes but no power steering. It drives down the road good and stops quickly and straight.
The truck has an excellent curb appeal and grabs lots of attention. The "grabber blue" paint is in good shape but not perfect. .It is an older single stage paint job with a few minor scratches and a couple of real small bubbles. The trim and chrome all appear to be original. The body itself is real solid, the cab supports are rock solid as well as the rockers. The only spot under the truck is a real small patch in the right floor pan. It's about 2"x4", I did include underside pics. Overall I consider the truck to be very good driver quality. It's nice enough to get you a trophy at the local cruise in but not what I consider "show quality".
The interior has just been freshened up with new carpe, seat cover and door panels. The dash has a cap, I've never had it off but I assume the pad is cracked. It has had a cd player put in at some time, it works but is nothing special. The speedometer works correctly as well as all of the lights and blinkers. The factory guages work but the fuel guage does act up ocassionally, I'd say it needs a new float.
The truck rides on near new 15x10 aluminum wheels with excellent BF Goodrich tires.
