1948 Ford F1 Flat Six
Started out as a project and I'm moving on. Up for grabs is a 1948 ford F1 Pickup Truck. This truck sat in a barn for about 30 years before i bought it to Rat Rod it out. Truck is in decent shape, worst parts are in the pix attached. 1- There is a hole through the roof about the size of a nickel, it appears to be from a drip in the barn, that is the only rust through that I can find on the cab. 2- The hood is rusted through at the nose and has separated (see pic) 3- Because it sat so long that it appears that someone has mixed qwikcrete in the bed. This truck has not run for about 30 years. We put a rebuild carb on it and running it through a can and got it running. I think 2 cylinders arent hitting, but, it moves! The manual tranny shifts smooth!!Did a little rigging to get t to stop as well so that it drives around the lot without pushing it everywhere.Truck is pretty much complete. Someone has stolen the radiator, heater and hinges. EVERYTHING ELSE IS THERE!pulled the side glass a and quarter glass frames out to have new glass made, didnt have glass made yet.
The body of the truck has quite a few dings, rust and other stuff, but nothing so bad that cannot be banged out of patched.
This truck is a great re-buildable truck to restore or rat. Ive just lost time. (Still working on my 52 F1)This truck is NOT ROADWORTHY,but, it will drive enough to get it loaded.
I am adding a 1995 Chevy S-10 4 banger with air, that i was going to use the frame and other upgraded stuff. Engine/frame are great on it but the tranny is bad, keeps blowing clutches. Clear title
If buy it now goes i will throw in a disassembled 1969 302 that may need machined that i was going to put in the F1. Crank, heads, pistons, block all included.
Have any questions? Email me prior to bidding. There is no warranty BOTH vehicles will need towed!
