Featured on the COVER of the March 2007 issue of Rod & Custom Magazine, with a 4 page color spread feature article inside. One copy of the magazine is included in the sale. Lots of the details of the build can be found in that article.Car has been featured in many magazines, websites, calendars, etc., across the globe, most recently the March 2016 issue of Mike Kelly's Cruise News as one of only 4 cars pictured and featured in the article advertising and promoting the 2016 National Street Rod Association Southeast Nationals.Trophy winner many times in it's history.Car was formally invited to the Detroit Autorama and the Gambino Sit Down.I purchased this car for shows only, with my plan being to use it in our trade show booth. We used it for a few years. In the last 5 years, there has been less than 300 miles put on the car, however it is started and run on a regular basis. It is stored inside. We drove it this weekend 200 miles to and from the NSRA Southeast Nationals and it ran flawlessly with 20 mpg. Just perfect.
The build was started about 2005 with a rust free car, and the project was led by the noted midwest builder Alex Test. (R.I.P.)There is no rust and there never was any rust. The bottom of the car is rust free, as are the panels throughout the carAll the panels are hand formed, included trunk, doors, hood, quarter panels, etc. There is over 100 man hours per side on just the spears. The custom work is incredible. The dash is painted and pinstriped by Dr. RuThe headlights are 1952-1954 FordThe grill is custom made stainless steel rodThe front lip of the hood is hand made and extended 4 inchesThe side spears are extended into the quarter panelsThe rear tail lights are 1952 Ford housings with 2004 ThunderBird lensesThe interior is 1969 Ford Thunderbird. Note the wrap-a-round rear seatThe car has $20,000 in real money invested in just the paint and body. There is over $65,000 in REAL CASH MONEY in this build. The car is appraised at about $80,000.The roof has ten coats of pearl metal flake with clear coat. House of Kolor. The body is also painted a blend of House of Kolor Lime Time Green (a custom blend). As stated about $20,000 was spent on paint for this build. The car has all new front suspension. Over $1200 spent on parts aloneThe alternator is brand new.The AC compressor is about a year old.The rear suspension is on 2" lowering blocks with air shocks. Fully adjustable for whatever look you'd like. The lake pipes are not functional. They are not hooked up. The dual exhaust exits through the rear and sounds excellent. It has headers. Sounds Like a hot rod390 V8 motor with a brand new Edelbrock carb, new HEI distributor and wires, new radiator, tune up, gaskets, etc. Needs nothing but a new driver. The car has the following:Power steeringPower disc brakesAutomatic transmission with coolerPower locks (poppers for the doors and the trunk on a key fob)Air Conditioning the blows cold with new parts that were quite expensiveAll the lights work and the horn works. All the chrome is excellentAll the windows are excellentThe paint is excellentReal Astro Supreme wheels and nice white wall tires.Stereo and speakers are brand newThe car runs and drives excellentI would have no reservations about driving this car from Florida to California if you'd wish. It's ready-to-go NOW.
LET ME BE CLEAR: YOU ARE A COMPLETE FOOL IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS CAR FOR THIS MONEY. A FOOL....OR YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HECK YOU ARE LOOKING AT AND SHOULDN'T BE LOOKING AT CLASSIC CARS IN THE FIRST PLACE. ONE OR THE OTHER.
This car is the "Belle of the Ball" at every car show or cruise in that you attend with it. It grabs ALL the attention. If you DONT like attention, DONT buy this car.
The car has a clean clear Florida title.
I am only selling to fund a business expansion. I'm really looking for a CASH sale.I will consider a trade, but it has to have a market value of $30,000.00 or higher. We never ever thought we would sell this car. But an opportunity has presented itself that I need to take advantage of . So, the car goes. And please, no low-ball offers. I know what I have. I know what it's worth. Please be serious and be fair. The price is way way way lower than it's worth.
My husband has experience domestic shipping and international exporting of vehicles, and can help with that at buyers expense. We are close to the ports of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, and Brunswick, GA.
