Originally assembled on March 11, 1964, this 1964 Corvette Convertible is in good condition, and features desirable added power steering and brakes. One of just 1,897 '64 Corvettes finished in RARE Tuxedo Black from the factory (and probably one of far fewer with Black and White interior), this car's paint is good-vg, looking to be older, but still showing a nice shine. Convertible top is BRAND NEW. Chrome bumpers and exterior door handles appear to be original, and are in good condition. Weatherstripping is recent, and vg-exc. Taillights are vg with no cracks, and knockoff style wheels are vg as well. Michelin radial whitewall tires show an average of 8/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1964 Corvette Convertible shows BRAND NEW seats, vg loop carpet, good-vg door panels, and a good condition center console. Slightly newer style GM seatbelts look to be recent, and are vg, and the clock is currently working with a quartz movement. A Hurst shifter has been added, and a correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. Gauges are good-vg with recent lenses and typical fading. The numbers matching engine in this car shows original casting date February 25, 1964, and final assembly date March 2, 1964. Correct intake manifold, radiator hoses, and hose clamps are in place. Additions to this engine include an Edelbrock chrome air cleaner, Edelbrock carburetor, 340/350/365hp factory style finned aluminum valve covers with "CORVETTE" script, t-handle valve covers bolts, polished flex fan, and billet pulleys for the alternator and power steering. Frame is solid and rust-free. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
