The Chevrolet Monte Carlo is an American icon having been produced from 1970-2007 and spanning 6 generation of body styles. One of the most recognizable and iconic of those is the fourth generation that was built from 1981-1988 and at the top of the food chain are the SS models like we have for sale here.

Today we offer for your consideration a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport finished in white with maroon interior and 65,277 miles showing on the odometer and verified through Autocheck (Although per Texas law titlewillshow exempt, due to age). The SS’s were made famous from Drag racing and NASCAR racing, for its rear wheel drive setup and addition of power for the first time in 85 since 1981, and also for their sporty Euro like design cues. This Monte Carlo is ready to cruise as she sits and has many tasteful and exhilarating upgrades to make your drive even that much more memorable; such as a nice sounding 350 V8 with a mild cam, B&M ratchet shifter, a steel cowl induction hood, polished Crager wheels and headers. It is almost like the pro-touring version of classic cars that has everyone opening their check books.

Codes Z65, B4V, F41, L69 must appear on all true 83-88 SS’s which this car does house those codes. If you would like a complete list of the option codes on this car please don't hesitate to ask.

It is apparent by the photographs and after driving her that she has been well cared for over the years, receiving updates and care which can be attested to by her overall condition. Finished in Vinyl interior which probably is not original, as we have only seen them with the velour or cloth interior.

This car is a pleasure to drive and performs the way one should we the extra ponies under the hood. The air blows ice cold, all the gauges work even the added differential and transmission temperature gauges. This car drives great and is a no nonsense vehicle! We looked the car over and found one spot of visible rust about the size of the end of a pen on the passengers door (see photograph). The interior is in great shape from the seats to the door panels to the carpet. There are some cracks on the dash that are hidden by the dash cover and some wear marks but overall vibe of the interior is extremely nice. The drivers side floor mat could be replaced. The trunk is well detailed and houses a speaker and amp system. It has been repainted at some point in its life and the paint looks good other then the chip on the front bumper that could easily be touched up if desired.

This MonteCarloSS is a blast to drive and giveyouthe added performance of a 350. If you are looking for something that stands out on the streets, this car will! Ready to hop in and drive, no-nonsense in any way.

If buyer is outside of Texas, a $50 documentation fee will be collected in addition to the sales price along with ADV tax (appox $40) and a $5 temp plate fee.
