For sale is a numbers matching 1969 Buick GS 400 convertible with an automatic transmission. NO RESERVE. Power steering, power brakes, power top, power windows, cruise control. Original engine and automatic transmission. No air conditioning.
I have owned this car since 2007. The miles on the car are unknown, but the engine was rebuilt at some point in the past. Runs and drives very strong. Triple black.
There is rust on the frame. There are two areas where it has come through. Please see the pictures for details. These are the only two areas where I believe that welding needs to be done.
This is a daily driver and would be a good candidate for a full restoration. This car runs, drives and shifts great. The pictures show the overall condition of the car. I have put very few miles on this car in the last 11 years. Kept it garaged with the intention of restoring it. I never got around to it and it is time to pass it on to the next guy.
Needs a new convertible top. Needs paint. I tried to give it a driveway paint job and it came out like crap. It's time to get this in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing. The chrome trim on the front grill is pitted and cracked. I'm not listing all dings, scratches, scuffs, pitting, leaks, etc etc. This is a 49 year old daily driver. The pictures show the overall condition of the car. Give it some paint, some welding, and drive it like it is-- or restore it.
However, it is all here. If you can weld and paint, this would make a great investment. If you want a good candidate for a restoration, this is it. Your gain, my loss.
