1961 Buick LeSabre Sport Coupw

61 Buick 2 door Le Sabre Sport Coupe ( Bubbletop ). Same body style as Impala Bubble Top, but less than 1/2 the price and much rarer. Mileage shows as 66,000, may be close to original, but speedo & odometer are not working. Heater disconnected, everything else works. Car still has original engine and transmission. 364 Nailhead 2 barrel rated at 365 ft lbs torque & 2 speed Dynaglide automatic trans. Runs good. Stock style 2 into 1 exhaust, not dual exhaust. Has Electronic Ignition, Power Steering & Power drum brakes. Original turquoise paint has been covered with flat white primer some years back. The pictures look shiner than the paint really is. It's presentable, has some minor surface rust but no rust thru. See photos, there is one repaired ding on right rear, and a ding on left rear bumper corner. The surface rust comes off easily with a 3M pad, but I've done it often enough that the original turquoise is starting to show thru. All chrome and molding is good shape with none missing. Glass all good. Car needs new interior, the original is pretty torn up except for new dash pad. I have a contact and samples for stock 3 color interior. SMS Auto Fabrics in Oregon quoted me $2350 for matching seat covers and door panels in stock fabrics and pattern. Car is all stock except for electronic ignition, aluminum radiator, alternator to replace generator, and upgraded 18" Boss 338 rims and new tires. Original 15" wheel covers included. I found a stash of 364 nailhead parts, so I bought them all to have spares if needed. Those parts are included in the sale and are: Spare intake manifold with 2 barrel carb, exhaust manifolds, starter motor (mounts on drivers side), stock distributor and another Buick distributor that has electronic conversion done by Buick Nailhead expert and a extra set of cylinder heads. You'd never be able to find these parts if you ever need them; now you'll have spares. This is an original Southern Calif car that was sold new in San Gabriel, Ca.
