We purchased this vehicle out of a prominent collection with another Buick which you may also see in our current inventory. This Buick is definitely in excellent overall condition and very correct. This Sedanette was purchased new and spent 65 wonderful years in Medford, regon! It has resided with the same meticulous owner for the last decade!
Finished in deep black with tan interior, he car appears to have benefited from an older restoration and still presents itself very well today. The paint on the car looks very good with only a few minor imperfections. The body is solid with curvy lines that war cars are known for. The chrome and bright work on the car is in great condition with a brilliant shine. There is an optional exterior sun visor installed above the windshield that looks great! Overall, his classic Buick shows itself well!
Inside, he car retains its original interior that has withstood the test of time and it looks great! The door panels, eadliner and seats are all finished in the same period correct, an cloth which is in great condition. The same is true for the rear seats. There is a little bit of wear on the driver’s door panel but still shows well. The carpet is in great condition as well. It should be noted that the vacuum windshield wipers are currently inoperable. The dashboard is finished in a “wood” like veneer and looks great with no cracking or buckling. The dash houses a set of original style gauges that look great, s well as an AM radio.
Under the hood, ou’ll find the Buick Straight Fireball 8 engine. This Buick came with many options, ne being the special order factory dual carburetors, hich is very rare! Mated to the engine is a 3-speed manual transmission that is shifted through the column. It runs and drives great! Would you believe that the Buick 40 the fastest American production cars built in 1941?!
The Buick sits upon a set of black steel wheels with chrome Buick hubcaps and beauty rings that are all in very good condition. The wheels are wrapped in period correct 7.00-16 BF Goodrich Silvertown wide white wall tires.
