1962 Replica/Kit Makes convertible Sebring 5000 MX

Up for sale is this awesome award winning Classic Roadsters Sebring MX in show condition. Beautifully painted in Jaguar dark blue B/C (has only a few very light scratches). a very well built Chevy 350 V8 with 300 plus hp and turbo 350 auto trans.. Has a strong ladder frame with a steel floor and tunnel.The MX comes with a Mustang suspension with coil springs and front disc brakes. Rear is a 8"four link with 3.08 posi. and QA1 coil over springs.The MX has power steering and brakes, tilt wooden steering whee, solid wood dash VDO gauges, roll up windows, heater and an Alpine sound system with amp.. Interior is high quality custom black leather with upgraded hightop seats and special order carpet from England.The MX has an extra cost canvas top and optional tonneau cover.The car is loaded with lots of goodies like Goodyear T/A tires in very good shape, American racing mag type wheels, 2.5" stainless exhaust and flow master type mufflers. The MX sounds real heatlhy (but not overly loud). This Sebring has not been driven hard or raced and is very well maintained (professional tuning and Mobil "1" oil changes every 3000 miles). I have built, restored and owned many of these Sebrings and Saxons. And have seen over one hundred over the years at shows, and this is one of the best!! I am posting for a very close friend of mine in the GTSCA kit car club who has health issues. The MX came from AZ and has a 1962 Austin Healey title. It can be cheaply insured as a vintage auto.The kit was assembled in 1995.This is a very high quality example that can out perform many Cobras (and can't be built for the asking price).
