1959 Other Makes Nash Metropolitan

This BEAUTIFUL 1959 Nash Metropolitan has been completely disassembled and restored with many new parts and upgraded with MG Midget DISC BRAKES up front. Restoration was finished in April 2016 and the car has less than 100 miles. Aircraft quality 12-point fasteners used throughout. Currently registered with a CLEAN title.
Rebuilt 1500cc engine, transmission and differential.
All suspension disassembled, painted and rebuilt with new bushings, gas tank restored, new fuel lines, new brake lines, new master & wheel cylinders, all new wiring, new trim where available, all stainless trim polished, chrome all redone, new paint, all new interior, all new rubber. Basically everything was either rebuilt or replaced.
This started as a rust-free California car. The previous owner completely disassembled the car, stripped, prepared and painted it before beginning the assembly, but was unable to finish the project. The minimal bodywork needed was done very well, and the car is very straight. The paint shows some light imperfections, as well as some small chips and scratches from assembly, but it is very shiny and shows well. We took possession of the car, finished putting the car together, got it running and installed a new interior. All parts are from Metropolitan Pit Stop, where the car can be seen in North Hollywood, CA.
This is not a trailer-queen show car (which would cost 2-3X more), but it is a very nice driver quality restoration where everything received attention. Please keep in mind there are imperfections as the car began as an amateur restoration, and we did our best to complete it. Please contact us before bidding if you have any questions or would like to see pictures of any specific areas.
This car is being sold as-is where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. We have made our best attempt to accurately describe the condition of the car and to show as many angles of the car as possible. Please inspect the pictures for the condition of the car. Much of the work was done to the car before we took possession, so we can not guarantee it. The car is advertised locally as well, so we reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. We do not provide or pay for shipping, but will do our best to work with the buyer to arrange for transport. $
$500 deposit is required within 24 hours of close of auction, with remaining balance due within 7 days of close of auction. Car must be picked up within 7 days of close of auction or storage fees may accrue.
