1959 Willys 6-226 Pickup Jeep Flatbed

We are helping one of our very good customers in listing their 1959 Willys 6-226 Jeep4x4 flatbed pickup for sale on eBay. This very straight and solid Willys has been in their family for many years and for that matter has been in our County since it was sold new. It was rescued by the current owners from another old family farm where it had been sitting unused for quite a long period of time. The original pickup box was totally destroyed when this family bought it and brought it home. The owner got it all in running order, ecovered the seat and built the metal frame with wood flooring bed just for this unit. All of the lights work and to start it an electric fuel pump has been mounted but not hard wired in yet. So we put a jumper wire over to itand it started right up. It smokes a little but it has also been sitting for awhile. The main thing about this is how nice and straight the body is on this unit. The glass is missing from the passenger side door, he rear window and the drivers side door is badly cracked. The hood is mounted on the hinges but the side spring latches are missing. We are sure that some other small items are probably missing but the pictures show the unit pretty well and they explain quite a lot about it. It will be a fantastic project to finish and a lot of the hard work has been done.
