Willy's CJ3A Jeep with F head engine upgradeSurvivor Willy's that is ready to drive or fully restore. I am not sure what year the F head engine was made so I am guessing 1957 or so. This engine is a significant upgrade from the original flat head engine. It is pretty peppy and rides smoothly for one of these old flat fender Jeeps. A lot of work was done on this to convert it and it has new windshield glass and rubber gasket, tires and tubes, brake lines, wheel cylinders, beachwood seat covers, points, condenser, coil, distributor cap, plug wires, etc. It sat for awhile so a carb rebuild wouldn'thurt any. There is some blow by and I have been advised to add marvel mystery oil and run it. The rings may be gunked up from sitting. I have just run it around the block a few times myself. Could clear up or it could need rings I just do not know. The ammo boxes are custom made to cover the hood cutout for the carb to clear. The jeep has the typical rust out points and some have been patched and some have not. The 4 wheel drive works as it should and there is a PTO unit mounted but not hooked up to anything. I was told it works fine but I have not tried it. The emergency brake is not holding. All the hardware is still there but it will need new shoes installed. The Utah Title is clear . I am selling for it friend that is deployed overseas. He just has not had the time to enjoy driving it so he wants it to go to someone that will put this classic Jeep it to good use.
