Description:

1961 Willys Station Wagon

This wagon restomod has gone through a total ground up restoration. This completely rust free body was media blasted down to bare metal then coated with epoxy primer before two tone base/clearcoat were applied in the original colors. Underside was treated to Raptor bed liner. Interior walls, roof and floors were treated to Lizard Skin thermo barrier as well as Kilmat sound deadener. The body was installed on a 1977 Ford F150 4x4 chassis which was also media blasted and treated with epoxy primer. This chassis uses the original 9 inch ford Posi-trac rear axle and Dana 44 "high pinion" front axle. 4 wheel disc brakes and new brake lines were fitted. Engine is a Gen1 5.0 F150 Coyote motor with just ove 35k miles. Transmission is a matching Ford F150 4x4 6r80 with a Borg Warner 2 speed manual transfer case. All mounts and accessories are brand new. A new Old Air Products A/C system keeps the cab warm and cold. Cooling and power steering systems are brand new as well as the Power steering gearbox. Instrument cluster is a brand new digital unit with a GPS speedometer. Steering wheel and tilt column are sourced from a Jeep Cherokee. All interior has been replaced with new material including seat covers, headliner, door and wall cards, carpet and oak floor rails. Window glass and seals are all new as well as door seals. Motor puts out over 400 hp with use of Ron Francis Telorvek engine management wiring and an SCT Tuner. So much more to list. Wagon comes with most receipts and instruction manuals. This build has over $25,000 in parts and materials as well as over 800 of my shop labor. If I were to build this for a customer we would be looking at well over $100,000.00
So let's see who wants something other than a Bronco with basically the same drivetrain at an affordable price.
