This jeepster was redone from top to bottom with over $75k plus spent to achieve this custom one off beauty. It was built in 2006 as a promotional car for a company, and since it was built there is only approximately 14k miles been put on it, between car shows and company functions.
It was built for highway speeds, and I understand it goes straight down the road at 75mph. The original metal body of this 1950 willy's jeepster is sitting on a 1974 jeep commando frame, and has 4 wheel drive 4x4 with Warren hubs. It has a chevy 383 stroker engine, holly carb, backed up to a turbo 400 automatic transmission trans and a 205 transfer case, and powerful 4 wheel disk breaks, to stop this beast, as I understand. It has a working a/c, with a convertible top and 4 side curtains to help keep the cool a/c in and bad weather out. A nice bluetooth radio to listen to your tunes while going down the road. The vehicle is sitting on Mickey Thompson rims and tires, with 393 rear, 3 speed slap shifter. The original metal body with all seams welded and ground out. It has a tow package for ? I'm not sure what else to say, when it starts up, the engine sounds strong and healthy, fun, functional car to drive around and take anywhere.
