1946 Willys CJ2A

You are bidding on a barn find and early desirable CJ 2a with the column shift. Although it has some rust it is an excellent candidate for preservation. If I don't sell it the plan is to patch the areas that need repair and preserve the rest in as is condition. She comes with a PTO assembly which is pretty cool. All data tags are original and match (dash, frame and firewall). According to my research the serial number on the engine falls in line with the jeep's vin number making it a matching number jeep. It comes with some original canvas some of which is usable but perfect for a template to make new canvas. Original top bows also included. Engine was started just a year ago so with a tune up she should run.
Due to popular request I went and spent 30 minutes on the jeep and got it running. To prevent the valves and Pistons from getting stuck a little marvel mystery oil was poured in each cylinder. Due to that fact it smoked for about a minute and then the smoke cleared. She drives well and starts right up. The brakes will need attention. It was pretty cool to see it running and driving.
