1953 M38A1 Military Jeep. I bought the Jeep several years ago and had intentions of restoring it. I have too many projects and the Jeep needs to go to someone that can spend some time on it. The serial number on the military tag is 50909. The number on the Willys Overland tag is MD50650. It was manufactured on 7/53. All of the body and drive train is original, with very little serious rust. It has been converted to 12 volts. It has a new battery, fuel pump, master cylinder and tune-up parts. I have cleaned the tank and rebuilt the carburetor. It starts, runs, and drives fine. The old winch on the front works good. Someone has installed two mismatched hubs on the front, but they also work fine. There is no glass in the windshield frame. It needs some body work and some love. It's been kept in a barn most of its life. There is a photo that showssome various parts that will go with it.What I know about it's history is that it was purchased at a military auction in California and then moved to Oregon where it spent its entire life on a ranch. It has a clear title and no license. I will be happy to assist with the shipping any way I can. I didn't have anything o do with the yellow paint. A no reserve auction. Serious bidders only.
