For sale is a 1961 Volvo PV544 Sport. I have owned this car for nearly 2 years and have put lots of time and effort improving it's condition. However, just don't have enough time to work on it anymore, o I need to sell it to open up more space in my home.
When I first purchased it, t had been sitting in a garage for 5 years
PAPERWORK: Currently under Planned Non operation so easy to register and no surprises at the DMV.Currently has Original black and yellow plates already registered with the DMV.
ENGINE:
Has the legendary B-16 4 cylinder engine with recorded 30miles per gallon on average once it is properly tuned up .these engines are built so reliably they were used in more than just residential us, many were used in farming operations in tractors and even as marine engines .
TRANSMISSION: 4-Speed Transmission.
DRIVETRAIN: The differential is in good condition no leaks
WHEELS: Original wheels,painted to the same color as the body. Tires are OK.
EXTERIOR: Paint is in good condition. All chrome trim included and in good condition.
INTERIOR: upholstered front seats. Dashboard/controls in good condition for its age . Needs new carpet Headliner is decent. Door weatherstripping could be replaced.
SUMMARY: This is an excellent project car for a beginner to learn to work on cars (It is incredibly easy to work on) or an experienced Volvo enthusiast to fully restore. As of now the car does not start but will crank once starter motor is replaced they cost about 50$ online . There is some rust in the rear trunk which is shown in the photos and radiator and gas tank are included .I am selling car as is if you have any questions about the car do not hesitate to call or message me questions .This sale is final I do not accept returns and will only accept payment through Ebay .I do not ship but will work with you if you decide to arrange for shipping on your own .
