1985 Volvo 740 GLE

Very rare car here. I'm not sure how many of these were imported to the States but it was very few. This 740 is in pretty good condition considering its age. The car runs and drives. This model has the 4 speed with overdrive transmission, no sunroof, driver heated seat that doesn't work and cruise which also doesn't work. The interior is very nice on this car, no rips in seats, perfect headliner and very nice carpet. The paint condition as you can see has clear coat peeling which is very common during these years of production. There are a couple dings and dents on the body but its pretty clean for an 1985. This is the only the second 85 740 I have ever seen and the other one was much more rusted out. Accessories that I have installed are a snowcap on the cowl, a 780 Bertone leather steering wheel and the leather armrest. Included in the sale is the original grill with turbo diesel badging and the original 14 inch wheels with snow tires installed. The car is going to need some attention to make it a collector car or daily but its really solid. This is the culmination of my Volvo collection over the years with many before it. You'll be stunned by how smooth the VW inline 6 diesel feels and sounds!
