1973 Volvo 1800ES

This clean original survivor has always lived in southern California since new. 4 speed overdrive. Fast & economical.
1973 Volvo 1800ES retains its original color and maintaining mostly (90%) original paint with black leather interior and original brown wool carpet. The Fuel injected original Volvo engine has always been meticulously maintained and was completely rebuilt with all new Volvo parts and traveled about 1200 miles since rebuild. This car does not drip any fluids. Everything that moves was replaced. Historically serviced at San Diego Volvo. This car has the original factory OVERDRIVE manual 4 SPEED recently rebuilt and working perfectly. Even the clock has been cleaned and oiled and works great.
These wagons are fun to drive and Volvo safe and dependable. They are rising in value according to NADA classic valuation site which if you check it out you enter "coupe" and it will take you to the sport wagon.
The complete engine overhaul produced a quick car that always starts on the first revolution. Everything works as it should. The suspension, steering, bushings, joints, shocks, brake lines and much more are new. Steering is very tight and true. Everything is up to date. This is a very dependable wagon and great looking with its Ferrari style air intake.
This sport wagon has never been repainted so there are a few nicks here and there. As you can see from the photos under the doors and floors, this is a rust free California car. All the floor pans are excellent top and bottom retaining the weep holes. The leather seats are in very nice condition. The carpet is wool and original. Steering wheel is leather covered original. Note there is no rust around the rubber seal around the rear window. There is a small rust spot on the rear valance. Tires are 90%, door rubbers replaced. I have past registrations and the original owner Id card and manual. The car has had two owners before me since new, all in southern California. This car does not drip any fluids.
No smog required in California and insure through Haggerty very reasonably.
