This is my 1969 Volvo 1800S. This car was an absolute blast to drive, and was always turning heads. I never had the time or money to fully restore it, but even warts and all it was a conversation starter and the best car I have ever owned.
This car was a daily driver for about three years, and has sat for about four since then. When I say daily driver I mean it. I drove it everyday to work, school, and to see friends all over the place. When I bought it, it had sat for about ten years. I was told when I purchased the car that it was originally a California car, and the small amount of rust on it gives that statement some merit.
The car is a wonderful candidate for restoration. The body is solid with some rust spots, but it handled and shifted smoothly. The engine starts and runs, but the carbs need some work to get it smooth again.
I'm not sure of the exact mileage, but it came with a 100,000 mile badge on the bumper and about 65k on the odometer.
